What will lessons teach me?
Quite simply, lessons will teach you anything you want to learn. Whether you want to pursue music
learning with a passion by reading music, learning theory, etc. or just want to learn a few of your
favorite songs George's Music can help. Based on your goals we will match you with a teacher that
will be the best fit to help you achieve them.
Who is my teacher?
Your teacher is a qualified music instructor with serious musical training and dedication to their
instrument. In many cases, the instructors are working professional musicians with a great deal of
playing experience. They are quite capable of teaching you the finer points of playing technique and
music theory. The relationship you build with your teacher will be a strong one as you learn and progress.
How long and when are my lessons?
Lessons are typically 30 minute private lessons. If you feel you would like to learn more, 60 minute
lessons are also available. Once you find a teacher and a time that suits your schedule best, that will
be your reserved time slot each week.
What if I can't make a lesson?
Attending your lessons each week is paramount to your success in achieving your goals. However, things do
come up in life! If you cannot make your lesson and you contact the store within 24 hours of your lesson
you will receive a credit for that lesson the following month. If you don't want to miss out on your learning,
make-up lessons may also available.
How and when do I pay for my lessons?
Lessons are paid for on a monthly basis on the first lesson day of each month when you come in for your lesson
and can be paid for with cash, check or debit card.
What materials will I need for my lessons and where can I get them?
One of the benefits of taking your lessons at a full-line retail store is that everything you need is right at your
fingertips. Our trained professional sales staff will guide you every step of the way with whatever you need -
from basic lesson books to the purchase of your next instrument to help fuel your passion. You can even try out
instruments when you come to the store for your lessons.
