Add Percussion to Your Guitar Playing

As a frequent solo guitar player, I'm always looking for ways to add more musical elements into my performance. This is a great little technique for doing just that at a very low cost and with virtually no learning curve. You can be employing this technique in just a couple of minutes!It's as simple as this: in your picking hand, slip an inexpensive 'egg shaker' percussion instrument. Now as you strum, you'll also be adding a percussive element to your playing, right in time with the song!Happy strumming!
