A harder, more uniformly dense wood, swamp ash is considered very resonant across the entire frequency spectrum.
This guitar features a hand-carved top and a neck crafted from a single piece of mahogany, hand-sanded to perfection and given Gibson’s traditional ’50s neck profile, figured acrylic dot fingerboard inlays, Gibson Tune-o-matic bridge and stopbar tailpiece. The pickups are a 490R in the neck position, and a 498T in the bridge position. This guitar comes with a Gibson hardshell case. The case has some damage to the exterior tolex that can be seen in the pictures,
There are a couple of other aesthetic issues you'll see in the pictures - please look carefully - nothing major and nothing that effects playability or sound. - some scratches on back wood (belt buckle, etc) - fading and spotting on headstock face
