Why play in a band?
Overall, nothing challenges a musician more than playing with and for others. It’s great for learning new music, making life-long friends, pushing your playing to the next level, but, most of all, it’s just plain fun!
Do I need to have experience playing in a band?
Not at all! The goal of the program is to help players make the transition from playing alone to learning what it takes to play in a group format.
Who is my instructor?
You will be mentored by an experienced musician who has spent years performing live and will help prepare you with everything you need to confidently perform with a band in front of a live audience.
Do I need to be enrolled in the lesson program?
Many of our Rockstars participants are enrolled in our private lesson program which is a great way to personalize your experience, however it is not required to participate in the program.
What music will we play?
As a band you will work with each other and your instructor to create your “set list.”
How often are the rehearsals?
Bands will practice weekly on their designated day and time.
Can I play multiple instruments?
Our goal is to help you improve and grow as a musician so we encourage everyone who participates to try any instrument you like. Play guitar, bass, drums, keyboards, sing... wherever your heart takes you!
Do I need to bring gear to the rehearsals?
Our rehearsal room is equipped with amps and a PA system to help you rock out. You will want to bring your own instruments and microphones with you. Also, our professional sales team is here to help with any gear questions and needs you might have.
