This guitar looks and sounds fantastic. The first thing I did when I brought it home was tune it and check the intonation up and down the fret board, and it was spot on. The playability is superb, the action excellent, and the guitar has a warm, full sound. It has everything that should be expected in a premium guitar: mahogany body and neck, rosewood bridge, inlay, and the nut and saddle are solid bone, a huge plus. The Craftsmanship on this guitar is just stellar for its price range. Plugged in it sounds completely natural. The guitar came with a small Alvarez accessory pack including a surprisingly nice clip on tuner and a capo which actually fits the guitar neck perfectly (trust me, this is not always the case when using a capo) I purchased at the Spring City location. Initially I was going back and forth between a Yamaha and the Alvarez, and Tom was a big help in the selection process and answered all of my questions. The price was competitive, and because my daughter and I attended a free guitar maintenance workshop, we received 10% off of some accessories. Customer service was top notch throughout, and I couldn't be happier with my purchase.
