Since its introduction in 1961, the legendary Casino has remained Epiphone's best-selling archtop and a rock 'n' roll standard!
This iconic guitar was among several new thinline archtops developed and manufactured at Epiphone's newly established factory in Kalamazoo, Michigan, which it shared with its once competitor and now partner, Gibson. Notably, the Casino gained recognition when Keith Richards of The Rolling Stones used it to record the demo for "Satisfaction" at Chess Records in Chicago. Moreover, it accompanied Howlin' Wolf on his inaugural UK tour, where he made an appearance on Thank Your Lucky Stars. The Beatles' John Lennon and George Harrison also purchased Casinos for their 1966 world tour.
Boasting Degear PRO P-90 pickups and a 5-ply maple body, the Casino embodies Epiphone's commitment to crafting remarkable instruments for musicians worldwide.
