West African ebony fingerboard and bridge

DESCRIPTION
The Taylor GT 811e incorporates the appointment characteristics of the 800 Series in a Grand Theater shape. The 811e is a completely new instrument that offers all the tone of a full-sized, solid-wood instrument in a comfortable mid-sized shape.
With this unique instrument, Bob Taylor and Andy Powers have created a completely new category of the acoustic guitar. The shape is in between a Taylor GS Mini and a Grand Concert, but with a more modern set of proportions. The guitar is easy to hold, easy to get around and incredibly comfortable to play. This American-made, all sold-wood guitar incorporates the finest of Taylor's unsurpassed build quality, with a new twist on shape, sound and feel.
At the heart of the sound is the revolutionary C-Class bracing pattern. The C-Class bracing pattern works in unison with the solid-wood sinker redwood top and East Indian rosewood back and sides to generate a tone that is bold, powerful and faithful to your musical performance. Genuine West African ebony is used for the fingerboard, bridge and headplate.
A shorter 24-1/8” scale length gives you a lower string tension with a silky feeling that allows you to glide up and down the neck with ease. Other appointments include mother-of-pearl Element fingerboard inlays, gloss finish, Taylor's top-of-the-line ES2 electronics, and the inclusion of an AeroCase.
Limited to a total of 100 instruments, this Taylor GT811e Sinker Redwood LTD is an instrument that will inspire and take your playing in directions that you never imagined.
