FAQ's

What will lessons teach me?

Quite simply, lessons will teach you anything you want to learn. Whether you want to pursue music learning with a passion by reading music, learning theory, etc. or just want to learn a few of your favorite songs, George's Music can help. Our self-booking feature allows you to view the bio's of our instructors and choose the one that you feel would be the best fit for you. If you are unsure or would like more info, contact us and based on your goals we will match you with a teacher that will be the best fit to help you achieve them.

Who is my teacher?

Your teacher is a qualified, background-certified music instructor with serious musical training and dedication to their instrument. Most George's Music instructors are working professional musicians with a great deal of playing experience. They are quite capable of teaching you the finer points of playing technique and music theory. Their top priority is to help you achieve your musical goals, no matter what they might be all while having fun along the way. The relationship you build with your teacher will be a strong one as you learn and progress.

How long and when are my lessons?

Lessons are typically weekly, 30r or 60 minute private lessons depending upon the amount of instruction that works best for you. Once you find a teacher and a time that suits your schedule best, that will be your reserved time for lessons each week.

How do I take my lessons?

Lessons are offered in-store or online through Zoom - a remote conferencing service that combines video conferencing and remote collaboration.

What if I can't make a lesson?

Attending your lessons each week is paramount to your success in achieving your goals. However, things do come up in life! If you cannot make your lesson you can manage your schedule through your online lesson portal. Simply login to your account and cancel your lesson. Cancellations made within 24 hours of your lesson will automatically receive a credit. Through you account you can view available times and book your make-up lessons.

How and when do I pay for my lessons?

You can also manage your billing through your online account. Lessons are auto-billed monthly on the first of each month. If you start lessons mid-month, your first month will be prorated. Our online portal also allows you to update your card information, view past and future invoices, attendance history and more.

What materials will I need for my lessons and where can I get them?

Our dedicated staff of professionals are available in store to personally assist you or you can shop our extensive inventory online 24/7 and have products delivered to your door or made available for in-store or curbside pickup.
