The Cry Baby Classic Wah is a modern take on a classic sound. Dunlop's engineers re-tuned the Cry Baby Standard Wah circuit to have a lower frequency center and a more subtle effect while adding the legendary Fasel® Inductor to create the gorgeous tone, voice, and sweep of early Cry Baby pedals. For tonal purists, the Cry Baby Classic Wah also features true bypass switching.

The 105Q Cry Baby Bass Wah has been the most popular bass wah for years. The world’s top bass players have used its deep, expressive tones to add groove and texture to their bass lines. Now you can get that sound and functionality without taking up much more space than a Phase 90.

The FFM1 Silicon Fuzz Face Mini Distortion is spec'd from a 1970 Fuzz Face in our own collection prized for its bright and aggressive Fuzz Face sound delivered by its matched BC108 silicon transistors.

Early on in the process, Eddie handed over his Holy Grail Crybabya standard Crybaby customized in the early Nineties with a more vocal-like, High Q inductor and a wider frequency sweep.Amazingly, we found that over the years Eddies unique wah style, which uses mostly the middle range of the pedals action, had carved his own curve into the pots resistive element, making the middle range even more defined and increased the low-end sweep. Our clones of the worn-in pot and hand-selected inductor give the new EVH Wah Wah the same Holy Grail feel and tone, and its true hardwire bypass, dual bright blue bypass LEDs, and graphics based on the black and yellowstriped guitar featured on Van Halen II round out this EVH-approved Crybaby with a voice and look all its own.

Like the man himself, the Slash Cry Baby Wah is both revolutionary and classic, right down to its hot rod metallic red finish and cutting edge circuit design. Whether he's blazing through the blues on his own or rocking with Black Country Communion, Joe Bonamassa's playing is fiery, deep, and powerful. And when he really wants to express himself in a solo, he steps on a Cry Baby wah. That's why we at Dunlop worked with Joe to develop the Joe Bonamassa Signature Cry Baby, specially engineered to fit in perfectly with Joe's system, from the way it looks to the way it sounds. On the outside, it sports a classy copper top with a smooth-finish black body. On the inside, it features large, vintage-style thru-hole components, a Halo inductor (for added harmonic content), an output buffer (to prevent impedance imbalance with vintage fuzz pedals), and a switch for true-bypass or non-true-bypass operation (Joe prefers non-True Bypass as it darkens the high end). With its huge vocal sweep range, this is one of the most expressive Cry Babys ever, and it's Joe's tool of choice to accentuate every soulful bend and bluesy wail. The first pedal I ever purchased was a Cry Baby, 25 years ago, he says. I am so honored to have my name on this pedal and hope it brings you as much fun as it brings me every night on stage.

The Echoplex EP-3 tape echo unit is famous for its deliciously warm, organic modulation and sweet musical voice—a key component to some of the most iconic guitar tones from the ’60s and ’70s.

The original EP-3 units, however, are expensive, temperamental, and larger than a VCR.

That’s where the EP103 Echoplex Delay comes in. It’s the size of a Phase 90, and it delivers the EP-3’s legendary tones with a simple control interface and a hi-fi all-analog dry path. The Delay control sets the time between repeats—from 4 to 750ms—the Sustain control sets the number of repeats, and the Volume control sets the output level of your repeats.

Where the sound of this pedal really shines, though, is in Age mode. By default, your pedal performs as a perfectly-calibrated, factory-fresh tape echo machine would— bright and clear tape with subtle wow and flutter modulation. A quick push of the Volume knob lets you “age” the sound of your repeats, darkening the tone, upping the tape saturation (distortion), and increasing modulation and tape distress as you turn the knob clockwise.

The EP103’s delay signal gets the same tonal conditioning that the EP101 Echoplex Preamp provides, while the dry path is left untouched. For the full EP-3 experience, put that secret sauce on your dry signal by running the EP101 in front of the EP103.

The Echoplex Delay also features tap tempo functionality, for up to 4 seconds of delay time, when you hook up an M199 MXR Tap Tempo Switch. The dry path is all analog with Constant Headroom Technology™—providing a full 20 volts of headroom—and a choice of true relay or trails bypass. The EP103 can be set for 100% wet mode along with stereo input and output modes. No tape cartridges required!

Work on this pedal first began some 20 years ago when Dime, a long-time user of the super customizable Cry Baby 535Q Multi-Wah, wanted even more freedom when setting up his rig on stage. Starting with the 535Q, we carried over its Q control, 6-way range selector, and adjustable kick-in boost. Next, we hot-rodded it with a wide sweep range for Dime to dig deep and fly high, a control to adjust the pedal’s toe-down frequency, an extra output for splitting your signal to a separate FX chain, and back-mounted LED indicators to conveniently show whether the wah is on and whether the boost is engaged. Finally, we replaced the standard rubber tread with skateboard skid tape so that your foot doesn’t slip on any spilled beverages.

Hendrix was the master of fuzz — an artist with many subtle shadings at his command. His love affair with the legendary Fuzz Face pedal began in the early days of the Experience and continued to evolve throughout his brief but blazing career.

The Dunlop Jimi Hendrix Fuzz Face is a meticulously faithful reproduction of the 1969-70 Dallas Arbiter Fuzz Face that Jimi used on classic albums like Band of Gypsys. Dunlop’s engineering department examined hoards of vintage Fuzz Faces, honing in on a few units which possessed that unmistakable Jimi voodoo. The Hendrix Fuzz Face is built around the toneful BC108 silicon transistor. It is authentic in every detail, down to its hand wired brown circuit board with circuitry carefully matched to the original specs. The look is 100% accurate too — that groovy circular chassis with tooled clones of the original Fuzz Face knobs in the rare and vintage turquoise hammertone finish. A truly playable collectable for any Hendrix or Fuzz Face fanatic.

The wah-wah pedal was just invented when Hendrix burst on the scene in 1967!  To this day, few guitar players names are more synonymous with killer wah leads and wicked wah-driven syncopated rhythms.  The wah pedal that Hendrix used was a 60s design by the Thomas Organ Company and manufactured by JEN in Italy.  This is the unmistakable wah tone heard on Hendrix classics like "Up From the Sky", "Voodoo Child", "Little Miss Lover" and "Still Raining Still Dreaming".   The Jimi Hendrix Signature Wah reproduces these timbres with startling accuracy. Over the course of ’69–’70, Jimi Hendrix appeared at his most noted live appearances—Live at Woodstock, Live at Berkeley, and Live at the Fillmore East—using a mysterious red Fuzz Face Distortion with white knobs. That fuzz box sounded like a completely different animal from any of the other Fuzz Face pedals in Jimi’s arsenal, snarling with a far more aggressive, biting tone.

The pedal itself has been lost to history, but its unmistakably unique tone lives on in the recordings of those three iconic shows, and Hendrix aficionados have tried to cop that sound for years. We are happy to say that their tonal quest can finally come to a glorious end.

Poring tirelessly over all of the different customized circuit designs Jimi used over the years, Dunlops engineers narrowed down this elusive fuzz tone to a version of the Octavio® circuit that didn’t have the octave up signal. After making a few tweaks, they nailed it with the Band of Gypsys Fuzz Face Mini Distortion.

Now, you can get the same Fuzz Face tone Jimi used to woo the masses at some of his most famous performances. It comes in a pedalboard-friendly Fuzz Face Mini housing, complete with an AC power jack and an on/off status LED.

The Cry Baby Mini 535Q Wah provides the perfect balance of wah control and pedalboard-efficiency. Set the tonal character of your sound with the Range Selector, which allows you to choose one of the standard 535Q Wah's four most popular sweep ranges.

With the Q control, you can shape the wah's response, from a narrow bandpass that emphasizes higher end harmonics to a wide bandpass that emphasizes lower end harmonics. If you want to bump yourself up to the front of the mix, just crank the Volume control and then kick the Boost switch to engage the level change.
