Private lessons, instrument repair and setups happen on site. And the people behind the counter play, so advice on a first guitar or a first kit comes from somebody who has owned one.

George’s Music Jacksonville Beach has moved! You’ll now find us at 1238 Beach Boulevard, just over a mile from our previous location and still right in the heart of the Beaches community.

Our new location gives musicians even more reasons to stop in and experience the gear for themselves. Compare a Martin against a Taylor without guessing from a photo. Plug into an amp and hear how it actually sounds. Sit down at a digital piano, pick up a guitar, or find the accessories you need before your next rehearsal or gig.

We’ve been serving Jacksonville Beach musicians since 1995, and our new store is built for what comes next — with a great selection of instruments and gear, an expanded music lesson facility, and a team of musicians who can help you find what’s right for you.

Players visit us from across Jacksonville, Ponte Vedra and Palm Valley, as well as Neptune Beach and Atlantic Beach just minutes up A1A. Whether you need a new instrument, strings, cables, sticks, accessories, lessons or expert advice, it’s all here at our new Jacksonville Beach location.

Guitars, bass and amps

The guitar wall is the reason to come in. Electrics from Ibanez, Fender, Gibson and PRS. Acoustics from Martin, Taylor, Yamaha and Ibanez. Bass from Fender, Rickenbacker, Ibanez and Yamaha. Plug into a Fender, Blackstar or Boss amp and hear it at the volume you actually play at, not through a laptop speaker. Pedals from Boss, JHS, Strymon, MXR, and DigiTech are out and ready to step on. We are also the place where you can pick up that new ukulele from Kala, Lanikai, Cordoba or Ibanez.

Drums and keys

Checkout acoustic kits from Tama, Ludwig and Yamaha, plus electronic kits from Roland and Yamaha for anyone with neighbors. Sit down and play one before you decide. Keyboards, digital pianos and synths from Yamaha, Korg and Roland, from a first 61-key up to weighted action.

Pro audio and recording

We’re your source for speakers, mixers and microphones from Electro-Voice, Yamaha, Sennheiser and sE Electronics for anyone running sound for a band, a room or a service. On the recording side, we have interfaces and controllers from Focusrite, PreSonus, Novation and Audio-Technica, and staff who can tell you which one actually fits what you are building.

Band and orchestra

Let us help you with the instruments you need for student players, from Conn-Selmer, RS Berkeley, Maple Leaf and Oldenburg, along with the reeds, sticks, rosin, strings and method books that go with them.

From I-95:

Take the J. Turner Butler exit and head east about eight miles to A1A. Go north on A1A, then turn left onto Beach Blvd. The store is a short distance ahead.

From Jacksonville:

Take Beach Blvd east across the Intracoastal and stay on it. The store is on Beach Blvd before you reach A1A.

From Neptune Beach and Atlantic Beach:

Head south on A1A to Beach Blvd, then turn right. The store is a short distance ahead.
