Event: Music Theory 101: Make Sense of What You’re Playing

6:00 - 7:30 PM

Cost: $35.00 USD

About this event:

Music theory doesn’t have to feel like school—and it definitely doesn’t have to be boring.

This 90-minute workshop is designed for musicians who want a clearer understanding of how music actually works without getting buried in complex theory. Whether you know a little or nothing at all, this session will help you connect the dots so you can play with more confidence, communicate better with other musicians, and understand the music you’re already playing.

We’ll break things down in a simple, practical way—focusing on what actually matters when you’re learning songs, jamming with others, or trying to improve as a player.

This is a relaxed, interactive session built for real musicians—not a lecture.

Perfect for:

  • Piano players and musicians of all instruments
  • Players who feel “stuck” or unsure of what they’re playing
  • Anyone who wants to better understand songs, chords, and structure
  • Musicians who want to play with others more confidently

What You’ll Walk Away With:

  • A clearer understanding of chords, keys, and progressions
  • The ability to recognize patterns in songs
  • Better communication when playing with other musicians
  • More confidence in your playing
