The intuitive Shift knob makes it easy to set semitone or octave intervals, while dedicated modes offer capo-style key changes and subtle detune effects. The Balance control allows quick blending of dry and shifted signals for polished tones.

Built for live performance, the XS-1 includes both latching and momentary operation modes, with support for external footswitches and expression pedals to expand real-time control.
