This creates less friction for more tuning stability. Thanks to their split-shaft design, it's a cinch to change strings—just thread each through the body of the guitar, insert the loose end into the tuners and turn to tighten. Unlike other guitars, this design eliminates sharp string ends that can poke fingers and damage gig bags.
