Karen Schodle
Karen spent over 30 years as an elementary music teacher in the Spring-Ford Area School District, including the Spring City, Royersford, and Limerick schools, before retiring to teach here. She teaches flute, clarinet, alto saxophone, trumpet, trombone, snare drum, violin, viola, cello, and piano, and encourages beginners of every age. For new students, she suggests just ten minutes of practice a day, five days a week.

When you're ready to play alongside other people, the Rock Stars Band Program puts students in a real band: you pick the setlist, rehearse across a season, and finish with a live show. Separately, our private-lesson students get their own chance to perform: a few times a year we host in-store showcases where a student plays a piece they've prepared with their teacher.
