The D'Addario PL009-5 gives you five .009 gauge plain steel single strings for acoustic or electric guitar. It's the pack you want stashed in your case for the moment a high E lets go — or for when you're piecing together a custom gauge set that no factory package quite matches.

D'Addario plain steel strings deliver superb, long-lasting tone, and the uncoated construction keeps the feel natural and familiar. The light .009 gauge is a favorite for easy bending and lower tension, and these singles suit electric, acoustic, resophonic and high-strung guitars alike.

Like all D'Addario strings, these are designed, engineered and manufactured in the USA at the company's New York production facility.

Never Stuck Mid-Session

Keeping a five-pack of .009 singles on hand means a snapped high E doesn't end your rehearsal or gig. Swap it out and keep playing.

Build Your Own Set

Singles let you dial in exactly the gauge combination you want instead of settling for a factory set. Mix and match until the tension feels right under your fingers.

Tone That Lasts
