The D'Addario Auto Lock Guitar Strap is a simple, integrative strap locking system built for your performance. The latch is spring-loaded, so it automatically clamps down on the strap button as soon as you attach it and won't release unless you want it to — no extra hardware to install, no screws to swap out.

Designed in collaboration with Ned Steinberger, the Auto Lock combines that security with a comfortable 2" wide polypropylene strap that adjusts from 35" to 55". It works with most strap buttons on the market and is available in a variety of materials and colors, making it a straightforward upgrade for guitar or bass players working live or in the studio.

Note: Although this product works with most strap buttons, it cannot be guaranteed to work on all designs. The Auto Lock will not work with end pin jacks or plastic strap buttons.

Security Without The Hardware

The locking mechanism is built into the strap itself, so there's nothing to install on your instrument. Slip it over the strap button and the spring-loaded latch does the rest.

Comfortable For Long Sets

The 2" wide polypropylene strap is designed to provide maximum comfort in standing situations, whether you're on stage or tracking in the studio.

Fits Your Whole Rig

With a 35" to 55" adjustment range and compatibility with most strap buttons on the market, one strap can move between your guitars and basses.

Spring-Loaded Auto Lock

The latch automatically clamps down on the strap button when attached and won't release unless desired.

2" Polypropylene Strap

A 2" wide polypropylene body spreads the weight of the instrument across your shoulder.

35" To 55" Adjustment

Adjusts across a 35" to 55" range to suit a wide variety of players and playing heights.

Broad Button Compatibility

Works with most strap buttons on the market, though it is not compatible with end pin jacks or plastic strap buttons.

Ned Steinberger Design

Designed in collaboration with Ned Steinberger, known for his innovative instrument and hardware designs.

Non-Padded Construction

A slim, non-padded design keeps the strap lightweight and low-profile.
