The Evans EC Resonant tom head uses a single ply of 10mil film to keep the underside of your tom open and expressive, while correcting the tuning inconsistencies that resonant heads are notorious for. You get a more centered pitch, increased resonance and a broader dynamic range.

Evans Level 360 technology is what sets it apart. The vertically enhanced collar extends the level playing surface a full 360 degrees around the drum, guaranteeing even contact with the critical bearing edge of the shell. That means easier tuning, an extended pitch range and optimum sound quality — no more wrestling a synthetic head onto a shell it doesn't quite fit.

Sound Shaping Technology (SST) ensures optimized performance for each individually sized drumhead, so this isn't a one-size-fits-all film. It's a natural choice for rock, pop and gospel drummers, and like every Evans head, it's designed, engineered and manufactured in the USA at the company's New York production facility.

Tuning Made Easy

The EC Resonant design corrects tuning inconsistencies, and the Level 360 collar seats evenly on the bearing edge so the head goes on without a fight. Less time at the drum key, more time playing.

Centered Pitch, More Resonance

The single-ply 10mil film gives you a more centered pitch with increased resonance and dynamic range, so your toms sing from quiet passages to full-volume hits.

Built For The Gig

Tuned for rock, pop and gospel, this head delivers the open, expressive bottom-side tone those styles live on.

Single-Ply 10mil Film

One ply of 10mil film keeps the sound open and expressive on the resonant side of the tom.

Level 360 Technology

Evans' exclusive collar design extends the level playing surface a full 360 degrees around the drum for proper head-to-shell contact.

Vertically Enhanced Collar

The collar guarantees even contact with the critical bearing edge of the shell, delivering ease of tuning, extended pitch range and optimum sound quality.

Sound Shaping Technology

SST treatment ensures optimized performance for each individually sized drumhead rather than a generic one-size approach.

Extended Pitch Range

Even bearing-edge contact widens the usable tuning range so you can dial the tom higher or lower without losing tone.

EC Resonant Series

Designed specifically to correct tuning inconsistencies while adding resonance and dynamic range.
