The Les Paul is one of the all-time great electric guitar designs, and Gibson has translated it to acoustic form before — as a Jumbo cutaway from 1969 to 1973, and as a Gibson Custom solidbody-style Les Paul Acoustic from 2000 to 2003. The Les Paul Parlor Acoustic is the latest take: a small-bodied acoustic cutaway whose outline reads like a scaled-down SJ-200, dressed in unmistakable Les Paul style.

Solid mahogany back and sides bring the warmth, while the bookmatched solid AAA flame maple top — braced with traditional scalloped X-bracing — adds bite and note definition, the same way maple does on Gibson's electrics. Single-ply cream binding trims the top and back, and the figured top is every bit as striking as the ones you'll find on Gibson's solidbodies.

The mahogany neck uses an Advanced Response profile that lands between beefy and slim, with a bound rosewood fretboard, 12" radius, 19 standard frets, and pearloid trapezoid inlays. A compound dovetail joint connects it to the body. The belly-down rosewood bridge, TUSQ nut, saddle, and bridge pins, and nickel-plated Grover Rotomatic tuners keep tuning stable so you can spend more time playing.

An L.R. Baggs VTC +4 under-saddle piezo pickup and active preamp put out 4 dB hotter than the standard VTC system, with soundhole-mounted volume and tone controls that stay hidden but stay reachable. A single-ply cream pickguard shaped after the Les Paul Standard, a mother-of-pearl Gibson headstock logo, and a gold Les Paul Model silkscreen finish the look. It arrives plug-and-play ready in a modern hardshell case.

The Perfect Les Paul Pairing

Flame maple, cream binding, trapezoid inlays, and that familiar pickguard shape mean this acoustic looks like it belongs next to your Les Paul Standard. It's a high-quality Gibson acoustic that matches the aesthetic you already love.

Plug-And-Play From The Case

The factory-installed L.R. Baggs VTC +4 pickup and active preamp put out 4 dB hotter than the standard VTC system, so you're ready for a stage or a session straight out of the box. Soundhole-mounted volume and tone controls stay out of sight but remain easy to reach mid-song.

Stays In Tune

TUSQ nut and saddle work with nickel-plated Grover Rotomatic tuners to hold pitch where you set it. That means less time tuning between songs and more time playing.

Bookmatched AAA Flame Maple Top

The solid AAA flame maple top is bookmatched and as figured as the tops on Gibson's electric models. Maple adds bite and note definition on top of the mahogany body's warmth.

Solid Mahogany Body

Solid mahogany back and sides deliver the warm, woody foundation of the guitar's voice. Traditional scalloped X-bracing supports the top.

Parlor-Sized Cutaway Body

The smaller parlor body is shaped like a scaled-down SJ-200 with a Les Paul single-cutaway silhouette. It's an easy-holding size with full upper-fret access.

Advanced Response Neck Profile

The mahogany neck uses a comfortable, fast-playing Advanced Response profile that's neither too beefy nor too slim. It's joined to the body with a compound dovetail neck-to-body joint.

Bound Rosewood Fretboard

The rosewood fretboard has a 12" radius, 19 standard frets, and pearloid trapezoid inlays. Single-ply cream binding runs the fretboard along with the top and back.

L.R. Baggs VTC +4 System

An under-saddle piezo pickup feeds an active preamp with 4 dB more output than the standard VTC system. Volume and tone controls are mounted discreetly inside the soundhole, with a 1/4" endpin output jack.
