The Gretsch Electromatic Baritone Jet captures essential Gretsch power and fidelity at sub-sonic levels. A chambered mahogany body with a carved maple top and an elongated 29.75" scale-length bolt-on maple neck combine for excellent resonance and colossal impact, while PureVolt Twin Six humbuckers deliver gut-punching power with remarkable balance and articulation.

The precisely chambered mahogany body and solid maple top are designed for exceptional acoustic balance, producing strong attack with a rich, present midrange, big lows and shimmering musical highs. A smooth rounded heel opens up access to the highest frets, and subtle comfort contours on the forearm and body create a balanced, ergonomic fit. The Performance "C" maple neck has tapered shoulders and just enough mass for precise playability in all positions, with maple construction supplying the stiffness and stability to handle heavier baritone string tension.

A genuine rosewood fingerboard with 1-ply aged white binding delivers a smooth, silky feel and warm, woody tone across a 12" radius and 22 medium jumbo frets, dressed with Pearloid Neo-Classic thumbnail inlays. The GraphTech NuBone nut optimizes break angle and string pull to the tuning keys, eliminating sticking and slipping strings for rock-solid tuning stability.

Electronics are built for complete tonal control. Each PureVolt Twin Six humbucker uses twelve adjustable pole pieces, with Alnico IV magnets and plain enamel wire in the neck and Alnico V in the bridge, plus specially calibrated coil winds and vacuum wax-potting to keep noise and interference to a minimum. A master volume with treble-bleed circuit keeps clarity at any volume, individual tone controls dial in each pickup, and push/pull switching on both tone pots unlocks true single-coil timbres that pair as a hum-cancelling combination in the middle position.

Colossal Low-End Impact

The elongated 29.75" scale length and chambered mahogany body take the Jet into baritone territory without losing Gretsch fidelity. You get excellent resonance and enormous weight behind every note.

Tuning You Can Trust

The GraphTech NuBone nut optimizes break angle and string pull to the tuning keys, so strings stop sticking and slipping. Combined with die-cast sealed tuners, it stays stable through your longest, most aggressive performances.

Comfort For Long Sets

Sculpted forearm and body contours create a balanced ergonomic fit, while the rounded heel gives unimpeded access to the highest frets. The Performance "C" neck profile keeps things easy in every position.

Chambered Mahogany Body

Precise chambering under a carved solid maple top is tuned for acoustic balance, delivering strong attack with rich mids, big lows and shimmering highs. Aged white binding with black/white purfling frames the top.

29.75" Baritone Scale

The elongated scale length is the key to the Baritone Jet's sub-sonic voice, and it ships strung with .013-.065 nickel plated steel strings.

Bolt-On Maple Neck

Maple construction provides optimal stiffness and the stability to withstand extra string tension. The Performance "C" profile has tapered shoulders and just enough mass for precise playability.

Bound Rosewood Fingerboard

A genuine rosewood fingerboard with 1-ply aged white binding gives a smooth, silky feel and warm, woody tone. It carries a 12" radius, 22 medium jumbo frets and Pearloid Neo-Classic thumbnail inlays.

PureVolt Twin Six Humbuckers

Each pickup features twelve adjustable pole pieces for precise attack, with Alnico IV magnets in the neck and Alnico V in the bridge, both wound with plain enamel wire. Vacuum wax-potting keeps noise and interference to a minimum.

Coil-Splitting Push/Pull Tone Controls

Push/pull switching on each tone control unlocks snappy, glassy true single-coil timbres, and the two single coils combine as a hum-cancelling pair in the middle position.
