The double-cutaway 16" arched laminated maple body hides an all-new center block design, engineered to balance lightweight comfort with a full, rich sound and increased presence. The result is improved attack and sustain plus excellent feedback rejection, in a guitar that won't weigh you down.
All-new Broad'Tron BT-3S humbucking pickups use a combination of Alnico 5 and Alnico 2 magnets for stronger mids, tight but full lows and smooth, clear highs. The traditional Gretsch control layout — neck and bridge pickup volumes, master tone, master volume and three-way switching — shapes it all, and a push/pull pot on the master volume adds useful single-coil sounds via coil-splitting.
Playability comes from a soft "C" shaped nato neck with a 24.75" scale length, 12"-radius laurel fingerboard, 22 medium jumbo frets, pearloid Neo-Classic thumbnail inlays and a real bone nut. Anchored Adjusto-Matic bridge, Gretsch V-Stoptail, Radio knobs and nickel hardware round out the Copper Metallic gloss package.
