The G2655 Streamliner Center Block Jr. with V-Stoptail bursts into the modern era with powerful sound and style in a smaller package — designed for the guitarist who demands more than the mundane: more performance, more style and, most importantly, more volume, while retaining everything you expect from a Gretsch.

The G2655 features a smaller arched laminated maple body with an all-new center block design under the hood. That center block balances lightweight comfort with a full, rich sound and increased presence, resulting in improved attack and sustain plus excellent feedback rejection — in a comfortable package that won't weigh you down.

The all-new Broad'Tron BT-3S pickup set uses a combination of Alnico 5 and Alnico 2 magnets for stronger mids, tight but full lows, and smooth clear highs that retain a musical presence. The traditional Gretsch control layout — neck and bridge pickup volumes, master tone, master volume and three-way switching — shapes it all, and a push/pull pot on the master volume adds coil-splitting for useful single-coil sounds.

Playability comes courtesy of a soft "C" nato neck with set-neck construction, a 12"-radius laurel fingerboard with 22 medium jumbo frets and pearloid Neo-Classic thumbnail inlays, and a real bone nut. Anchored Adjusto-Matic bridge, Gretsch V-Stoptail, Radio knobs and nickel hardware complete the look in a gloss Steel Olive finish.
