The G2655T Streamliner Center Block Jr. Double-Cut with Bigsby bursts into the modern era with powerful sound and style in a smaller package — designed for the guitarist who demands more than the mundane: more performance, more style and, most importantly, more volume, while retaining everything you expect from a Gretsch.

Under the hood is a smaller arched laminated maple body with an all-new center block design, engineered to balance lightweight comfort with a full, rich sound and increased presence. The result is improved attack and sustain plus excellent feedback rejection, all in a comfortable body that won't weigh you down on a long gig.

High-output Broad'Tron BT-3S humbuckers use a combination of Alnico 5 and Alnico 2 magnets for stronger mids, tight but full lows and smooth, clear highs. The traditional Gretsch control layout — neck and bridge pickup volumes, master tone, master volume and three-way switching — puts that power at your fingertips, and a push/pull pot on the master volume adds coil-split single-coil sounds for even more range.

Playability is handled by a set Nato neck with a Soft "C" profile, a 12"-radius laurel fingerboard with 22 medium jumbo frets, pearloid Neo-Classic thumbnail inlays and a real bone nut. An anchored Adjusto-Matic bridge, Bigsby B50 vibrato tailpiece, die-cast sealed tuners and nickel hardware round out the package, finished in gloss Gunmetal with aged white binding.
