The Hosa YRA-154 is a stereo breakout adapter built for one job and built to do it simply: splitting a stereo signal into left and right. One end carries a 3.5 mm TRS connector, the other end gives you dual RCA (phono) female jacks.

The phono jacks are color coded so hookup is fast and foolproof — black is left, red is right. You can also run it the other way, adapting a stereo cable with phono plugs to a mini stereo phone jack.
