PRS SE Silver Sky Electric Guitar - Laurel Green with Rosewood Fingerboard
$949.00
The PRS SE Silver Sky is a fresh and accessible take on John Mayer's original USA-made signature model. It offers a familiar feel and tone at a price that welcomes a wider range of players, putting signature PRS quality in the hands of the everyday guitarist.
A resonant poplar body keeps the weight manageable and the midrange strong, while the contoured double-cutaway shape stays comfortable whether you're seated or standing. The bolt-on multi-ply maple neck is carved to the 635JM profile — slightly rounded with a vintage nod — and topped with a rosewood fingerboard, small bird inlays, a 25.5" scale length and an 8.5" radius that makes bends and fast runs feel effortless.
Three PRS 635JM "S" single-coils deliver the sparkling clarity, dynamic response and vintage warmth of classic single-coil tone. A five-way blade switch plus master volume and two tone controls cover Mayer-style cleans, crunchy rhythm work and expressive leads with equal ease.
The hardware is built for gigging: a two-point steel tremolo for expressive pitch control with solid tuning stability, a synthetic bone nut, vintage-style non-locking tuners, and a double-acting truss rod accessible from the front of the headstock for simple setup tweaks. Finished in gloss Laurel Green and shipped in a PRS gig bag, it's a modern classic ready for the spotlight.
