The Roland JC-40 Jazz Chorus delivers Roland's renowned JC clean tone and signature stereo chorus effect in a compact combo amp with evolved features for the modern guitarist. Like the flagship JC-120 it's based on, the JC-40 offers a classic stereo clean sound that's a perfect palette for tone shaping with stompbox effects.

A stereo input lets you get true stereo sound from amp modelers, guitar synths, stereo effects pedals, and multi-effects units instead of summing everything to mono. Two 10-inch speakers driven by 40 watts of stereo power spread that image out wide, and a stereo effects loop keeps outboard processing in stereo as well.

Onboard effects include the signature Dimensional Space Chorus plus vibrato, distortion, and reverb — all with newly added features and updated sounds aimed at today's players. Footswitch jacks for chorus/vibrato, reverb, and distortion let you switch effects in and out while performing, and stereo line outs plus a stereo TRS headphone jack handle recording and quiet practice.
