The Fender CD-140SCE 12-String combines upgraded Fishman CD-1 electronics with ovangkol back and sides and a hardshell case, making it an ideal choice for any player looking to expand their sonic palette with an affordable, high-quality 12-string acoustic.

A solid spruce top with quartersawn scalloped "X"-bracing and a single-cutaway dreadnought body provide robust tone with plenty of projection, while the cutaway keeps the upper frets accessible. The mahogany neck uses Fender's 'Easy-to-Play' shape with rolled fingerboard edges, so the extra string courses stay comfortable for all playing styles, and a Graph Tech NuBone nut, walnut fingerboard and walnut bridge finish off the playing surfaces.

Onstage or at a mic, the Fender-exclusive Fishman CD-1 preamp offers volume, bass and treble controls plus an integrated electronic tuner with on/off switch and a low-battery indicator light. Topped off with a 1-ply tortoiseshell pickguard, CD Series pearloid rosette, gloss Natural finish and chrome die-cast tuners, the CD-140SCE 12-String is ready for whatever you throw at it, at home or on the stage.
