Tama HC63BW Boom Cymbal Stand

The Tama HC63BW is a sturdy, double-braced boom cymbal stand built to put your crash or ride exactly where you want it and keep it there. It uses Tama's patented Roadpro Quick-Set Tilter, a toothless design that relies on the friction of six smooth metal disc plates instead of traditional toothed gears — so you get infinitely adjustable angles rather than fixed notches, plus a more durable structure than a conventional gear tilter.

Limited stage space isn't a problem. The boom/straight convertible tilter lets you store the 15.75" boom arm neatly inside the upper tube and use the HC63BW as a straight stand, so one stand covers both setups. When you do need the reach, that boom arm gets you over toms and across the kit with ease.

Details matter on hardware that lives in a case. The reversible cymbal bottom protects the cymbal's center hole from the tilter's shaft and threads, and if part of the nylon sleeve wears out you can flip it over and keep using it. Nylon washers in the leg stand joints improve durability and make the leg action much smoother, while a threaded steel insert nut inside the tripod base adds strength and makes stripping far less likely than threads cut directly into the die-cast section. Add 25.4mm base section tubing, double-braced legs and a patented noiseless design, and you've got a stand that earns its place in the rig.
