From its Flat Black finish to the deep black interior of the shell, the TAMA Starclassic Performer Blacked Out Black Edition snare drum takes the series in a distinctly monochromatic direction. This limited 14 x 6.5 in. snare pairs a 6 mm hybrid shell of 4-ply birch and 2 inner plies of maple with rounded 45-degree bearing edges and die-cast hoops.

At the core of the drum is Starclassic Performer hybrid-shell construction, bringing two tonewoods together in a 6-ply design. Rounded 45-degree bearing edges define the contact point between the shell and the drum heads, while die-cast hoops provide a substantial hardware complement. The 14 x 6.5 in. dimensions place these construction details in a versatile, familiar snare format.
