The Bundy III Student B♭ Trumpet is a modern, beginner-friendly instrument produced under the historic Bundy brand name by Conn-Selmer. Unlike earlier Bundy horns built in Elkhart, Indiana, the later Bundy III instruments were produced in China, primarily during the late 2000s and 2010s. Its design is closely associated with the educational trumpet format popularized by instruments such as the Bach TR-300.
Everything here is aimed at developing players: a medium-large .460" bore, yellow brass body, clear lacquer finish, and nickel-plated valves, paired with a traditional trumpet layout that students will recognize from day one of band class. A first-valve thumb saddle and adjustable third-valve slide ring let younger players dial in a comfortable hand position and keep better control of the horn.
