Yamaha Revstar Matteo Mancuso Signature RS20MM Electric Guitar - Vintage Sunburst
$1,599.99
The Yamaha Revstar RS20MM was developed in close collaboration with Matteo Mancuso to reflect the look, feel and response of his custom Revstar. It's built for clarity, control and articulation — the foundation of his fluid phrasing, dynamic precision and effortless expression. In Matteo's own words: "I choose Revstar because it's rare to find a solid body that has so much flexibility for jazz and rock. I can achieve every sound I need thanks to the chambered body and the 5-way selector switch, plus it's super comfortable to play."
Tone starts with a pair of DiMarzio PAF 36th Anniversary humbuckers, redesigned around vintage PAF specs. Their softer magnetic pull allows the strings to vibrate more freely for long sustain and a highly expressive pick response, while locking tuners keep tuning stable through demanding performances.
The chambered mahogany body is shaped using Yamaha's exclusive Acoustic Design process, enhancing resonance while reducing weight, and the carbon-reinforced three-piece mahogany neck adds strength and stability. A push/pull Focus Switch engages a passive boost that emulates overwound pickups with darker highs and enhanced mids and lows, while the 5-way switching system introduces a subtle phase shift in positions 2 and 4 for a fresh take on classic in-between sounds.
Visually, the RS20MM captures the refined character of Matteo's custom instrument: a Vintage Sunburst flame-maple top paired with all-gold hardware, his signature on the truss-rod cover and a logo inlay at the 12th fret. A deluxe gig bag is included.
